Menominee County Divorce Records

Menominee County divorce records are obtainable through the county clerk's office Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Applicants require a photo ID and check or money order payable to the Menominee County Clerk at the rate of $15 for the first copy and $5 per additional copy. Applicants may also request via mail by submitting the filled Vital Request Form, a money order, a check payable to the Menominee County Clerk, and a photocopy of the applicant's driver's license.

An application for a certified Menominee County divorce record may also be made through the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS). Mail applicants require a filled-in application form, the names of both spouses, and the year of divorce. The base fee is $34, which covers one year of search and a certified copy. Menominee County birth records help prove identity, citizenship, parentage, and age. They are required to obtain a driver's license, enroll in social security, attend school, vote, and enlist in the military. In Michigan, only those named on a birth certificate, their parents, and legal guardians may request certified copies.
